The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized exam commonly used for college and university admissions in many countries, including the United States. It is designed to assess students’ readiness for college by evaluating their knowledge and skills in reading, writing, and math.
As for what constitutes a good SAT score , it can vary depending on the requirements of the universities or colleges you are applying to. Generally, a score of more than 1050 out of 1600 is considered a good score. However, if you aim to apply to top or dream universities, a score of 1350 or higher out of 1600 would place you in a better position. It’s important to note that admission criteria can differ among institutions, and other factors like GPA, extracurricular activities, and essays also play a role in the college application process.
